Hardware selection and assembly
A server spec matched to your needs and budget: CPU, RAM, drives (NVMe, HDD, ZFS), NICs, UPS, case or rack. New or sensible off-lease gear.
Not every company needs the cloud. Often a few thousand euros in well-chosen hardware and a weekend of configuration give you a server that will handle files, backups, virtual machines and internal apps for years – at a fraction of the monthly bill. I help you design it, buy it and get it running. And if you are building a homelab for yourself – happy to help too.
A server spec matched to your needs and budget: CPU, RAM, drives (NVMe, HDD, ZFS), NICs, UPS, case or rack. New or sensible off-lease gear.
Hypervisor installation and configuration: virtual machines, LXC containers, ZFS, snapshots, replication, Proxmox Backup Server, clustering and HA where it makes sense.
TrueNAS or ZFS on Proxmox, SMB/NFS shares, permissions, versioning, 3-2-1 backups (local + remote + offline). Restore is tested, not just “backups are running”.
VLANs, firewall (OPNsense / MikroTik), WireGuard VPN, reverse proxy with TLS (Traefik / Nginx), external access without exposing everything to the internet.
Nextcloud, GitLab, Vaultwarden, Home Assistant, Docker / Kubernetes, monitoring (Grafana, Uptime Kuma, Wazuh) – we pick what actually makes life easier.
Network diagram, credentials in a password manager, procedures (updates, restore from backup). You know what you have and how to run it.
What the server should do, how much data, how many users, what budget, what availability you need. Without this there is no sensible hardware choice.
A concrete spec with prices and reasoning, network diagram, service plan. You buy it yourself or I order on your behalf.
Build, Proxmox installation, networking, backups, services. On-site (Poznań area) or remotely after first boot.
A short walkthrough for whoever will administer it, plus documentation. Optional ongoing care and updates.
Yes – with 3-2-1 backups, updates, encryption and external access only over VPN. Those are exactly the things I configure by default.
Yes, in Poznań and the surrounding region. Further away – remotely, once someone on-site connects the hardware to power and network.
No. Homelabs are my hobby and where I learned Proxmox and Kubernetes. Happy to help design one, sort out the networking, or bring order to what you already have.
Write a few sentences about what you want to achieve. I usually reply within 24 hours and tell you straight away whether and how I can help.
